Frater Steve, in my family, we share a tradition of planting a fruit tree in the grave above our deceased pets-- horses, cats, dogs, and a burrow,   Today we have a productive orchard, yielding delicious mulberries, apricots, and plums-- and one Christmas tree that is currently over 30 feet tall.  At my former apartment in Los Angeles an avocado tree celebrates my dog, Rollo's, life that he shared with me  over 12 years in that apartment and neighborhood.

My dog died, I buried her, and I want to plant some flowers, plants, and or trees near or on her gave.  Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
